It's been a minute, but the Homesteading Program is about to be released! For a refresher on program eligibility, go here or read the ordinance here.
Important note: you must register at the City's sign-up form and select "I am interested in buying and rehabilitating a home to use as my primary residence" if you are interested in Homesteading.
The houses won't really cost a dollar, so the City of Trenton is hosting an informational workshop on financing for the Homesteading Program on Wednesday, September 30th, at 5:30 p.m. Registration is limited to ONLY those who have signed up at the City's sign-up form and selected "I am interested in buying and rehabilitating a home to use as my primary residence" and RSVP'd by calling (609) 989-3603. The workshop is not mandatory.
The list of houses and the application process have not yet been released.
